During the work, the building was completely renovated: a gallery space, modern audiovisual studios, exhibition and conference areas, as well as functional rooms for public and cultural events were equipped. The center is equipped with the latest technology, which makes it possible to hold events of the highest level.

Before the renovation, the building was three storeys high with an upper technical floor and underground parking. The renovation allowed to increase the useful area of the building by more than 1.5 times. In total, the builders repaired 7.3 thousand square meters and landscaped 0.4 hectares of the territory.

On the opening day, the guests visited the exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of director Stanislav Govorukhin, as well as the audiovisual studios of the Center. Creative sessions were held in the studios with the participation of Russian and Abkhaz artists: Rodion Gazmanov, Aslan Chachava, the group "Svintsovy Tuman", a children's choir from Abkhazia, singer Blizkey and others.

Badra Gunba and Sergey Kiriyenko thanked the specialists and builders who worked on the reconstruction of the building.

The Russian community Center "We are Together" will become an important platform for the implementation of joint projects in the field of culture, education and public initiatives, as well as a symbol of strengthening cooperation between Abkhazia and Russia. This center is open to everyone.
