The event, organized by the Autonomous Non–Profit Organization "Team of Abkhazia" and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Integration" Production Center with the support of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Russia - the Land of Opportunities", became the first large-scale coffee event in the republic. It has already been visited by about a thousand guests, all regions of Abkhazia and dozens of professional coffee specialists are represented at the site.

Vyacheslav Gladkov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Abkhazia, as well as the Ambassadors of Venezuela and Nicaragua, took part in the holiday program.
There was a tasting of exclusive coffees imported from the mountainous regions of Venezuela and Nicaragua.

The International Coffee Festival is dedicated to the Day of Recognition of the Independence of the Republic of Abkhazia and is aimed at developing cultural interaction, strengthening friendly ties and exchanging professional experience between the countries.
